IAAF World Championships London 2017

The IAAF World Championships London 2017 will be staged at The Stadium within Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, between 4-13 August 2017.

The stadium was the main venue for the London 2012 Olympic Games and has also hosted the IAAF Diamond League meetings in London in recent years.

The Olympic (now West Ham Footbal Club) Stadium, which witnessed sporting history during the London 2012 Games, will break further new ground this year as it becomes the first venue to host both the IAAF World Championships and the World ParaAthletics Championships.

Thousands of athletes from more than 200 countries who will compete in 14 sessions over 10 days.
